More about this item:
Following the success of "One Million Years BC", Hammer looked to capitalise with a follow-up that finally emerged in 1968 as "Slave Girls". Prior to this, the film enjoyed working titles of "Slave Girls of the White Rhino" & "Prehistoric Women". Here is a mounted photo (21"x 25" overall) of Chantrell's prototype artwork. The photo has been mounted on card with a paper overlay & presumably was used for presentation purposes. Prior to mounting, the photo was creased & Chantrell coloured in the crease marks himself. an interesting piece of Hammer memorabilia.
